I wrote a gay science fiction story.

Here is summary:

On a fragile colony world, science and survival hang in delicate balance.
Dr. Cassian Vale, a brilliant but rigid weather scientist, believes order can tame the skies. Rowan Ivelle, a passionate botanist, trusts instinct and soil to coax life from alien ground. Their rivalry sparks storms of its own—until the planet begins to answer them both.

When Cassian’s storms fuel Rowan’s crops, and Rowan’s plants stabilize Cassian’s weather, they are forced into uneasy partnership. But as storms and vines fuse into something new—pollen igniting like lightning, soil pulsing with growth—they realize the planet itself responds best when they work in harmony.

Together, they must learn not only how to balance nature, but how to balance each other. And in the quiet calm after the chaos, Cassian and Rowan discover that the greatest transformation isn’t of the world around them, but of their own guarded hearts.
